How to give OMG access to your Content Management System

WordPress

  1. Login to your website as an administrator and click on Users > Add New from the left hand admin menu:
  2. The most important two fields on this page are the Email and the Role, that need to be set as [email protected] and Administrator, respectively. You can add in the other fields at your discretion.
  3. Click Add New User. Once this has occurred, we will be able to process the login.

Shopify

We will request Collaborator Access via Shopify, and will send you an email to let you know that we’ve done so. Please accept our request and reply to the email that you have processed the request.

BigCommerce

  1. The Store Owner or a System Admin can create/delete users and grant permissions.
    While logged in as store owner, go to Account Settings › Users.
  2. Click Create a User Account.
  3. Enter the new user’s email address as [email protected], and set the account status to Active.
    When adding a new user, select Store Administrator as the User Role:
    Please let us know at [email protected] that access has been granted.
    We will then confirm receipt of the access invite via email.

Squarespace

  1. The Store Owner or an Admin can create/delete users and grant permissions. While logged in as store owner, open the Permissions panel and click Invite Contributor.
  2. In the Invite Contributor window, enter the name as Online Marketing Gurus and email address as [email protected]
  3. Switch on the Administrator toggle.
  4. Click Invite to send the invitation.
  5. OMG will receive an email invitation.

Wix

  1. Go to Roles & Permissions.
  2. Click Invite People.
  3. Enter [email protected] in the email address field.
  4. Select the Website Manager checkbox.
  5. Click Send Invite.

Maropost Commerce Cloud (Neto)

To create a new staff user account:

  1. In your Maropost Commerce control panel navigate to Settings & Tools > Staff Users.
  2. Click the Add New button.
  3. Enter Online Marketing Gurus in the Username.
  4. Enter Online Marketing Gurus in the Name fields. In the Email Address field enter [email protected]
  5. Enter a Password. Passwords must be 9-25 characters long and have a number, upper, lower, and special character.
  6. Set the Status to Active from the dropdown menu.
  7. Set the User Permission Group to Admin User from the dropdown.
  8. Click the Save & Close button to complete.

Square

  1. Go to Roles & Permissions.
  2. Click Invite People.
  3. Enter [email protected] in the email address field.
  4. Select the Website Manager checkbox.
  5. Click Send Invite.

Other

If you are using a different content management system, please have a look online for how to add a user. If this isn’t possible, or you have a custom-built site, OMG requires access to your FTP and cPanel in order to make any changes. Rest assured we won’t make any changes without prior consultation with you.
